The Best Ever

I should be studying or something but I just had to look at my pictures from The Best Day ever! I finally got the chance to be in the presence of Mr. David Avocado Wolfe himself. Saturday night we just started driving, with nothing in mind we headed toward LA and wound up at Erewhon. Being in LA brought back feelings of the party days and alcohol, especially for my Russian partner. So we went to Erewhon for some good kombucha or organic sake if need be. Me, I just wanted some Righteously Raw Chocolate bars. We ended up at the tonic bar, and got some good stuff from Mr. Truth Calkins himself. I forgot what Austin got, but it had his favorite Karmic Leap tonic. I didn't want a premade drink, could think of what my body needed at that time, but when I sat down I found a page of tonic/herbal descriptions. I see Holy Basil, which is something we talk about everyonce in awhile. My mom explained how it is big in Ayurvedic medicine and she once had it in all corners of her room. So I said- what can we do with this Holy Basil and how much. Well I ended up popping the liquid gels straight in my mouth with some rhodiola to chase it. He kept warning me that it would taste ngarly but to hold it on my tongue. I actually didn't mind the taste at all. I guess when you know what something will do for you, the taste doesn't matter so much. After that I was floating. Truth even said I had a glow going on. And for only $2. I would gladly pay $2 for Holy Basil heaven over a Jeager Bomb anyday. Oh yeah so anyways the whole point is that night we saw signs all over the store announcing David Wolfe doing a store tour, smoothie demo and book signing. I was so ecstatic! Last time he was there I missed it by a day, and this time it just comes to us by chance. There have been so many days where I get through the work day solely by watching youtube vids of David, saying stuff like "cool as a cucumber" and "you are what you eat". I always would say- this is why you do this Disa, that is the energy that you can have. You don't have to eat the bagels and danishes like everyone else and you don't have to look at the world like everyone else you are surrounded by. So today really was THE BEST EVER. I finally got a change to feel that energy in person and taste a crazy super smoothie made by the man himself. It was very uplifting. Now I just need to get that money flowing in so I can go to Peru with him next year. Ok here are some pics. Some where taken Sat night, just so those of you who have never been can get a small idea of the massive raw selection at this place. And the rest are of the fun we had today. Have the Best Week Ever Everyone!

Manifesting

I didn't manifest myself a trip to RSF but I did happen to send myself a brand new Blendtec Blender! Thanks to the Raw Divas and Blendtec I am back on my quest to serve green smoothies to everyone! I had to start turning my customers down because the day before I found out I was recieveing the blender the trusty R.P.M. broke. A week later the Blendtec had arrived so I had about six orders to fill. That morning made me question some type of smoothie carrying cart-as much as I think those little pull-crate things are gay I think I might need one. Having 6 mason jars full of green smoothie plus my own stuff, stuffed in a canvas Trader Joe's bag is no bueno for the shoulders. Anyhow I need to get off to the farmer's market. Don't expect any blogging from me soon, since my main focus is the business and school. Once things are updated to the point that I am satisfied I will be back to share. Take care!

Yeah I love it that much!
